1. Service Description

Distil provides token-bounded, edge-cached structured public filings and procurement data for autonomous AI agents, developers, and enterprise applications across multiple corporate registries (UK, US, Spain, France, EU).

2. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellation

• Subscription Billing: Developer Pro ($49/month) and Enterprise ($199/month) plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis via Stripe.
• Autonomous x402 Micropayments: On-chain micropayments on the Base L2 network are settled per query. Blockchain transactions are immutable and non-refundable once confirmed.
• Self-Serve Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time with one click via the Developer Portal or Stripe Customer Portal. Upon cancellation, your API key will remain active until the conclusion of your current billing period.

3. Fair Usage & Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass rate limits, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) protections, or security boundaries.
• Use the service for unlawful activities, harassment, or in violation of applicable laws and open government data licences.
• Resell raw, unmodified bulk copies of the API without written consent.

4. Service Availability & Disclaimers

Distil strives for 99.9% edge availability. Data is refined directly from official government registers on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While our Autonomous Data Sentinel continuously validates checksums and schema integrity, official filing errors originating from upstream government portals remain the responsibility of the statutory registrants.

5. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland (and the United Kingdom), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
